£100,000 prize fund for start-ups with an idea that might change the way technology can help older people

Ken Skates AM, Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Infrastructure listed ageing population as one of the biggest challenges facing Wales over the next 10 years when he recently previewed his forthcoming Economic Action Plan.
Centrica Innovations is launching the Active Ageing Challenge fund, and they’ll be taking applications for a prize fund of £100,000. They are looking to hear from start-ups who want to partner with them to address some of the biggest issues facing older people - like remaining independent, dealing with loneliness and health issues like dementia.
