NatWest launches new £1m round of community funding

First launched in May 2015, the Natwest Skills & Opportunities Fund has distributed £6.25m in funding to support projects in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the UK and Ireland.

Not-for-profit organisations, including charities, community groups, social enterprises and state-funded schools and colleges that help people in disadvantaged communtiies to develop, create or access the skills and opportunities they need to build their financial capability or to start or develop a new business, are invited to apply by Friday 22 September 2017.

After all the applications have been reviewed by a Board of Regional Directors, regional shortlists will be published on the Skills & Opportunities Fund website. The public will then be invited to vote for their favourite causes in each region to help the Regional Boards decide on the winners.
